Kurt Dykstra is a gifted leader in higher education, public service, business, and law.  He has been a partner at a large midwestern law firm, a judicial law clerk for a state supreme court justice, senior vice president in a midwest financial institution, and the mayor of the City of Holland, Michigan.  He now serves as the President of Trinity Christian College, a liberal arts college located in the Chicagoland suburb of Palos Heights.  Kurt also is on the Board of Directors at Providence Bank in Chicago.

He earned a bachelors degree, magna cum laude,  in Humanities from Northwestern College (Iowa) and a juris doctor, summa cum laude, from Marquette University.  In addition to attaining top honors in law school, Kurt also was the editor-in-chief of the Marquette Law Review.  He has lectured nationally and internationally on topics ranging from higher education, law, economic development, and leadership.  He has served on non-profit boards in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, and New York.  Kurt has appeared on ABC News, 60 Minutes, FOX News & FOX Business Channel, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, The Detroit Free Press, The Chronicle of Higher Education, C-SPAN, National Public Radio, as well as local and regional media outlets.

Kurt and his wife, Leah, have been married for nearly 25 years and together they have two teenage daughters.
